In short: No account, no login, no cloud. Your audits, photos, studies and notes are stored on your phone and go nowhere unless you share or print a file yourself. We collect nothing. Purchases are handled by Google Play, the App Store or the Amazon Appstore. There are no analytics, no advertising and no tracking.
Android only: the Android app (from Google Play or the Amazon Appstore) does not even declare the internet permission, which anyone can verify by inspecting the installed package.
Lean Day Toolkit is an offline application for warehouse and factory supervisors: 5S audits, waste analysis, time studies, changeover analysis, shift boards and related lean tools. It is available for iPhone and iPad on the App Store, for Android on Google Play, and for Fire tablets on the Amazon Appstore, and it is published by Plapl Games. This policy covers all three versions.

None. Lean Day Toolkit does not collect, store off your device, or share any personal information. Specifically, the app does not collect:
Lean Day Toolkit runs on your device. It contains no analytics, attribution or crash-reporting software, and there is no account, no login and no cloud. On Android, the app does not declare the internet permission at all. Outside communication is limited to three things, and each happens only when you act:
That is the complete list. There is no background sync and nothing is sent when the app starts.
| Camera | Only when you tap to photograph an audit finding, an action, a before/after sheet or a time-study lap. |
|---|---|
| Photo library / microphone | Only when you choose an existing picture, or record a reference video of a work element (the clip carries its sound). |
| Motion (step counting) | Only if you turn on optional step counting for a gemba walk or time study. It is off by default. |
| Notifications | Only for reminders you schedule yourself, and when you start your first floor timer. |
| Physical activity (step counting) | Only if you turn on optional step counting for a gemba walk or time study. It is off by default. |
|---|---|
| Notifications | Only for reminders you schedule yourself, and when you start your first floor timer. |
| Alarms & reminders | Asked only when you start your first floor timer, so the timer rings on time with the screen off. If you decline, timers still run, but may ring a few minutes late. |
Every permission that shows a prompt is requested at the moment you first use the feature that needs it, and the app works normally if you decline — you simply cannot use that feature, or, for alarms, a timer may ring late. The Android app also declares vibration (haptics), boot-completed (to re-register your reminders after a restart) and, in the Google Play version, store billing — none of these shows a prompt or touches your data. It declares no internet, location, contacts, camera or storage permission.
Everything lives in the app's private storage on your device: records and floor notes in a local database, photographs and videos as local files, and a copy of each report you generate. Nothing is uploaded — there is no server to upload to.
Lean Day Toolkit is a professional tool for workplace supervisors and is not directed at children. Because the app collects no personal information from anyone, no collection from children — or anyone else — can occur, which is how it satisfies children's privacy laws such as COPPA by design.
Lean Day Toolkit contains no advertising and no analytics or tracking tools. The only outside code is the store's own purchase system — Google Play Billing, the App Store, or the Amazon Appstore SDK in the Amazon version — which talks to its store to show the price of, process or restore the optional purchase, under that store's own privacy policy.
Your work stays on your device unless you share or print a file yourself. The only other outside communication is the store handling the optional purchase, which Google Play, the App Store or the Amazon Appstore secure and process, and from which we receive no personal data.
If this policy ever changes, we will update this page and revise the "Last updated" date above. Because the app's offline, no-collection design is core to what Lean Day Toolkit is, we expect any changes to be minor.
